The marriage between jewelery and art is the most indissoluble: sculpture has always been the sister of designers. As these images demonstrate: they are small works that are difficult to find a commercial outlet, but can simply be admired and perhaps, let’s face it, even copied. Andrée Putman, for example, designed silver rings and bracelets for Christofle, the Italian Gaetano Pesce thick plastic rings as big as rolls of liquorice. Matali Crasset designed three pendants for Le Buisson and the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer created his first jewelery work in 2011: Flor, an 18k gold and diamond bracelet, made by the virtuous Brazilian jeweler H.Stern.
