Er arbeitete f\u00fcr Cartier, entwarf Juwelen f\u00fcr Sarah Bernhardt und war ein Star der 1900er Weltausstellung in Paris. Im Jahre 1945 wurde seine Firma, die ihre T\u00e4tigkeit zu den Kristallobjekten erweitert hatte, auf ein bisschen von seinem Neffen Marie-Claude verfolgt. Eine Verj\u00fcngung, die mit Freuden von Fans begr\u00fc\u00dft wurde, die jetzt zwischen dem Ende des Schmucks und einer Reihe von wenigen Schmuckst\u00fccken w\u00e4hlen k\u00f6nnen. Lalique er\u00f6ffnete auch ein Gesch\u00e4ft von feinem und hohem edlen Schmuck in der Rue de la Paix, Paris, einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Place Vend\u00f4me entfernt.
