Mandalas, designs with geometric shapes that encourage meditation, have an ancient tradition and, in the last century, even a great scholar of Western psychology made them a tool for studying man’s personalities. Now the mandalas also have another, precious life. The Mandala collection by Pasquale Bruni, in fact, was among the winners of the Andrea Palladio International Jewelery Awards 2013, an international award that took place as part of the recent VicenzaOro Spring. The jury chaired by Gianmaria Buccellati awarded Mandala the prize as The Best Italian Jewelery Brand Collection 2012-2013, i.e. the best Italian goldsmith collection created by a company clearly focused on research and innovation. Award collected by designer Eugenia Bruni, creative director of the maison. «I created the Mandala line thinking of a Goddess woman, a queen of the present. In this collection, Italian goldsmith art meets oriental suggestions: the design of Mandala jewelery comes from the lotus flower which is the symbol of life. A collection in which the strength of color dominates, a real labyrinth of emotions in which to get lost, to emerge full of regenerating energy and intimate and fascinating light”, she explained. Here are some images of the collection.
